Lower Makefield Woman's Club
Lower Makefield Woman's Club is a group of talented and committed women who are dedicated to helping the local Buck County community through supporting non-profits by hosting fundraisers.
What a wonderful way to wrap up the year! LMWC gathered at Trattoria Rosa Bianca in Yardley to celebrate, install officers for the 2026–2028 term, and look ahead to an exciting new chapter. We’re grateful to retain most of our board, welcome two new members, and recognize the many years of service from our lunch and day trip coordinator.
As we reflected on the club’s accomplishments, the afternoon was filled with appreciation, great memories, and excitement for all that’s ahead in the next two years.
Rainy skies couldn’t dampen the spirit—it was a joyful time of friendship, gratitude, and new beginnings for LMWC!
On this Memorial Day, we join together in gratitude and remembrance for the heroes who made the ultimate sacrifice for our country. Their legacy of courage and devotion inspires us to serve our communities with the same spirit. We honor them today and always.
Members celebrated Cinco de Mayo a little early with a fun luncheon at Cancun Restaurant!
At our April meeting, club members elected officers for the next term and selected two new charities to support. We’re excited to partner with two local non-profits: Fostering Hope and Canine Companions.
Fostering Hope supports the foster care community by creating an extended family that surrounds and supports foster families—and by helping teens and young adults as they age out of foster care and build independence.
Canine Companions is a national organization that enhances the lives of people with disabilities by providing highly trained service dogs at no charge to the recipient.
To all our wonderful friends who will be celebrating Easter this Sunday, we wish you a happy and healthy holiday.
We wish all members and supporters who celebrate the feast a very happy Passover.
