LMWC members were wearing the green in honor of St. Patrick's Day. On March 17, members went to The Irish Rover and had a great time!! On March 19th, we held our general meeting had a St. Patrick's Day themed luncheon which all members enjoyed! See MoreSee Less

The club held its annual Valentine Luncheon on Thursday, February 19. The ladies supplied wonderful dishes and desserts and agreed that the opportunity to get together was a bright spot during a challenging winter. While the food, decorations and camaraderie were enjoyable features of the afternoon, the highlight was The Jazz Sanctuary, a group of local, outstanding musicians who performed a wonderful selection of great music, which members enjoyed! The Lower Makefield Woman’s Club convened at Moish and Itzy Deli in Newtown, Pennsylvania, on January 6 for a heartfelt multi-denomination celebration of Hanukkah organized by Club Member Lenore Rosen for the second consecutive year. Her planning and attention to detail and little surprises brought club members together in a spirit of joy and community, honoring the rich traditions of the Jewish festival of lights.Members immersed themselves in the Hanukkah festivities by singing traditional songs that capture the essence of the holiday. The gathering also featured educational moments, as attendees learned about Hanukkah’s origins, the significance of the feast, and the customs practiced during this special time.
